
Francesca de Luca
Francesca De Luca (CEC-ULisboa) is a research fellow in the research project HERILIGION (European Union HERA 15.033). She is a PhD candidate (ICS) and holds a MA (ISCTE) and BA (Universitรก La Sapienza) in Social Anthropology. Her doctoral thesis focuses on the genealogy of childbirth pain in Portugal through a historical-anthropological analyses of obstetric practices and their intersections with political and religious discourses. She has worked extensively in interdisciplinary projects and exhibitions crossing ethnography and anthropology (Colleex 2017; Paratissima 2016; Rifrazioni 2006-2010).
